Rivals250 wide receiver Destyn Hill was expected to announce his college decision during the Early Signing Period this week, but those plans have been pushed back.
Hill, instead, will commit and sign his national letter of intent during National Signing Day in February, he told Rivals on Monday.
Hill, the No. 165 player in the country and No. 26-ranked wideout, is a top target for schools such as Florida, Florida State and Alabama. He holds offers from the likes of USC, Georgia, Oregon and LSU, among others.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder will represent Edna Karr High School in the Louisiana Class 4A state semifinals on Friday night for a chance to play in the state title game. In the balance is a fifth consecutive championship for his high school team.
That's the main inspiration for delaying his college decision, Hill told Rivals.
The Rivals FutureCast was favoring the Seminoles leading into Wednesday's signing period.
