Ke'Travion Hargrove has Ruston (La.) High School rolling deep into the Louisiana Class 5A state playoffs.

Hargrove, a one-time Louisiana Tech commitment, will not announce his college decision until National Signing Day in February. He is still giving strong consideration to Florida State, Michigan State, Oklahoma State and Penn State.

On Friday, Hargrove scored a trio of touchdowns and topped 100 yards rushing while leading Ruston to an upset victory on the road at Ponchatoula. Ruston faces Destrehan this coming week in the Class 5A Louisiana playoffs.

IN HIS OWN WORDS
On a decision timeline: "I'm focused on Florida State, South Carolina, Penn State and Michigan State and Oklahoma State. I'm not talking to many coaches right because I'm focusing on state (championships). I'm gonna wait until February (to make a decision)."
On Florida State: "I like how they are trying to recruit me. They tell me everything I need to know."
On Penn State: "It's pretty much the same thing (as Florida State). They play a little bit more with me."
On Michigan State: "I hear things ... the same kind of stuff you hear from everybody."
On Oklahoma State: "They tell me the real about their program."

RIVALS REACTION
South Carolina is another team in the mix with Hargrove, but it is unclear when first-year coach Shane Beamer and his staff reach out to the North Louisiana standout.
Penn State, Oklahoma State, Michigan State and Florida State are the favorites and all four schools are in need of backs for this 2021 class. There are strong Louisiana connections on both the Seminoles and Spartans staffs, but Hargrove seems too far off from a decision.
